Azerbaijan reports machine gun fire in border areas

During 24 hours, the ceasefire regime in the conflict zone was violated 21 times, including in two areas bordering Armenia, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Azerbaijan reported.

On the day before, Azerbaijan registered 25 shelling attacks during a day.

"Units of the armed forces of Armenia used large-calibre machine guns and 21 times violated the ceasefire regime in different directions of the front within 24 hours," reports the Azerbaijani MoD on its website.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, positions of the Azerbaijani army in the village of Gyzylgadjyly in the Gazakh District and on nameless heights in the Gadabay District were shelled.
