In Moscow Region, three policemen suspected of cruel beating of Dagestani native

Three policemen suspected of beating a man in Orekhovo-Zuevo, who later died in hospital from the injuries he got, were arrested. A source from the law enforcement bodies reported that the deceased man was a father of MMA world champion Magomed Yunusilau.

After being beaten by the policemen in Orekhovo-Zuevo, 46-year-old Sulli Yunusilau died in hospital, reports today an informed source from the law enforcement bodies.

The press service of the Department for the Moscow Region of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) confirmed that three policemen from Orekhovo-Zuevo had been detained on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm to the 46-year-old man.

According to Olga Vradiy, the spokesperson of the Investigating Department for the Moscow Region, the incident occurred on April 11. The policemen repeatedly struck and kicked the man to his body and head "because of sudden personal dislike" and then fled the place of the incident. "The victim was diagnosed with closed traumatic brain injury and taken to hospital, where he died a week later from the injuries," reported Olga Vradiy.

One of the detained policemen is taken into custody, while the other two are under house arrest. In the nearest future, all three policemen will be charged.
