Minsk law enforcers decide to extradite Nalgiev to Russia

The consideration of the case of the Ingush activist, Ismail Nalgiev, detained in Minsk, was cancelled, because it was decided to extradite him to Russia, Boris Goretsky, a journalist, has informed today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ismail Nalgiev, the coordinator of the organization "Choice of Ingushetia", was detained on May 8 at the Minsk airport, from where he had planned to fly to the Czech Republic. Nalgiev was charged with an administrative offense; and the consideration of his case was scheduled for today at the Oktiabrsky District Court of Minsk.

The consideration of his case has been cancelled, because the head of the Citizenship and Migration Division of the Oktiabrsky District of Minsk has decided to extradite Ismail Nalgiev Russia, Mr Goretsky has added.

"His advocate is studying the case and writes a complaint asking to cancel the extradition decision and to suspend it while the complaint is being considered," the "Euroradio" quotes Boris Goretsky today on its website.

So far, no comments are available from Nalgiev's defence regarding this website message.
