Political analysts explain background of information about Kadyrov's career growth
An informational inflow about the possible appointments of Ramzan Kadyrov is beneficial to his opponents, since it produces an effect on ambitious plans of the leader of Chechnya, political analysts believe. Users of social networks argued about the need for a change of power in Chechnya.
Earlier, the leader of Chechnya has responded to reports of his possible resignation, with a subsequent promotion to the Vice Premier, by a demonstrative rejection of any ambitions to become a federal official.
In April 2015, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that he was subordinate to Russian President Vladimir Putin and was ready to leave office if necessary.
The information about new appointments could be disseminated by Ramzan Kadyrov's ill-wishers, believes political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin. Meanwhile, he also mentioned that the leader of Chechnya had repeatedly made it clear that he wanted career growth.
If the information is reliable, then "it is possible that after his appointment to the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), Ramzan Kadyrov will keep control over Chechnya," political analyst Alexei Malashenko believes.
In Chechnya, almost the entire control system is associated with Ramzan Kadyrov and people close to him. According to the estimates run by the BBC, out of 158 top officials in Chechnya, 30% are relatives of Ramzan Kadyrov.
To follow Ramzan Kadyrov, Magomed Daudov, Speaker of the Chechen parliament, has pointedly refused the career ambitions attributed to him. However, some of the participants of the discussion on the Magomed Daudov's page on Instagram noted that he "would be able to fulfill the duties of the leader of Chechnya."
"You would cope with the appointment, and Ramzan Kadyrov has already outgrown the position. Such a promotion would allow him to realize promising areas throughout the Caucasus," wrote voakha_sag.
