Azerbaijan counts 19 shelling attacks from Armenian side

During the last 24 hours, positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 19 times in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone and on the border with Armenia, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 7, Azerbaijan recorded 30 cases of truce violation for the past 24 hours.

"During the last 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire regime in various sections of the frontline for 19 times," the website of the Azerbaijani MoD has reported today.

The shelling was carried out both from Armenia and from the territories controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh, the MoD's statement says.

As of 9:05 a.m. Moscow time on June 8, the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh gave no comments on this statement.
