NKR accuses Azerbaijan of 65 shelling attacks during week

On August 4-10, Azerbaijani soldiers fired about 600 rounds at the positions of the Defence Army, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that during the week from July 28 to August 3, 2019, the NKR counted 90 cases of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan.

"On August 4-10, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire on the contact line of the armed forces of the Republic of Artsakh (the historical name of the NKR, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Azerbaijan for more than 65 times; about 500 shots from small firearms were fired in the direction of Armenian positions," say a report of the press service of the MoD of the NKR.

The MoD claims that, for its part, it strictly adheres to the ceasefire regime.
