Russian rapper Guf apologizes to Chechen people
The indignation of some "persons" and social networks users has forced rapper Guf to apologize for his careless word addressed to female residents of the Caucasus. The performer used it in relation to different nationals, but stressed that he apologizes to Chechens first of all.
The rapper Guf (Alexei Dolmatov) has explained his apologies posted in the Instagram by "a huge wave of indignation in many Internet publics and just among individuals" after his interview in the programme "Beware, Sobchak!"
In her interview with Guf, posted on the YouTube on October 2, Ksenia Sobchak criticized the rapper for his disdainful attitude to young women. He explained that he used the word "bitches" in relation to young women in "kindly manner". Then, Ms Sobchak asked Guf what kind of women he liked. "I like khochukhas (a nympho woman in modern youth slang, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), as I understand. My first love was a Georgian woman; then I had a Chechen wife, with whom I lived for 10 years; my last wife is a Georgian. I look, there, at Armenian and Ossetian women," the rapper Guf answered.
Let us remind you that in late September-early October, residents of Chechnya recorded a series of apologies for having violated local wedding customs, which, among other things, prohibit any presence of men at wedding ceremonies and performance of sensual songs. On October 2, at least the fifth video with apologies was posted in social networks. They all appeared after Ramzan Kadyrov had criticized the wedding videos posted online.
