Georgia will bring home her deported citizens herself

A special Georgian Airline aircraft has left from Tbilisi to Moscow to take the deported citizens of Georgia out of Russia.

Georgiy Kodua, head of the Georgian National Airline, called this flight to be a humanitarian one. It will take from Russia about 50 citizens of Georgia, who have been kept until recently at reception-distribution facilities. Georgia asserts that all the agreements have been reached, and the Georgian citizens will get home in the nearest future.

We remind you that early in November the ministers of foreign affairs of both countries will hold a negotiation round. It is expected that massive deportation of citizens of Georgia will be one of the topics. IN any case, the forthcoming meeting will be the first one at this level after the start of serious crisis of Russian-Georgian relations.
