Azerbaijani military serviceman killed on Armenian border
Pashazade Orkhan Nazim oglu, an Azerbaijani border guard, was mortally wounded during a shelling attack committed by Armenia, the Azerbaijani State Frontier Service has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 5, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army were shelled for 25 times within the previous 24 hours, including from sniper rifles, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.
On March 5, at 7:10 p.m. local time, Armenian units violated the ceasefire on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, as a result of which the above border guard was mortally wounded and died, says the statement of the State Frontier Service of Azerbaijan, posted on its website later on that day.
According to the MoD, the above Pashazade Orkhan Nazim oglu, an Azerbaijani border guard, was wounded by a sniper's shot when he was at a border combat point located in the village of Guschu Airym in the Gazakh District, after which he was taken to the Diagnostic District Centre. However, doctors failed to save his life.
