Kadyrov's adviser calls on to punish network user for chats with Chechen girls

Adam Delimkhanov, an advisor to the head of Chechnya, has urged to punish the social network user, who "writes inadmissible things" to women on behalf of Ramzan Kadyrov and Delimkhanov himself. The call will trigger a "witch hunt" in the republic, locals residents have suggested.

"Given the Almighty's will, we'll find this 'shaitan', and he'll respond before them. We've been looking for him for a month already," Mr Delimkhanov said in his video message posted on the Instagram.

Some commentators have expressed the opinion that the fate of the author of the social network profile is unenviable; but there were also those who supported the advisor.

According to the residents of Chechnya interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, Delimkhanov's call could lead to a "witch hunt."

"Anyone, who is a social network frequenter, can be suspected," Salavdi is sure.

"Delimkhanov urges everyone to report on anyone who can stand behind the posts in some profile. Simply put, he wants social network users to inform about each other. Although the scammers or, as they say, 'informers', have always been reproached here," said Isa.

According to Svetlana Gannushkina, the chair of the "Civil Assistance" Committee, any critic of Kadyrov could face threats and beatings.
