Native of Chechnya denied compensation for unlawful imprisonment
A court in Moscow refused to compensate for the moral harm suffered by Khusein Tsetiev, a native of Chechnya, who was unfairly accused of hooliganism and beating of employees of the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in October 2019, the court ruled from half a million to a million roubles of compensation to Chechen natives, Said-Magomed and Khusein Tsetiev, as well as to Khamid Razhapov.
Tatiana Okushko, an advocate, said that Khusein is the eldest son in the large Tsetiev family, but due to illegal imprisonment he was deprived of the opportunity to help his parents. But even after his release, while he was still under the charges of committing a grave crime, Khusein could not get a job.
