Ossetian singer operated on after hassle with court marshals

Doctors in Beslan have operated on Salomeya Plieva, who received a trauma during her clash with court marshals in the building of the Supreme Court of North Ossetia. The singer, suspected of assaulting law enforcers, claims that, on the contrary, she is a victim. According to Ms Plieva, she was beaten up by court marshals, after which a criminal case was opened against her on the use of violence against a state servant.

The incident occurred on February 19, when Salomeya Plieva, who is an employee of the human rights organization "Don", came to the sitting as a public defender of David Albegov, a resident of North Ossetia, convicted under a fraud case.

According to Plieva, court marshals prevented her participation in the consideration of the complaint about the prosecutor's actions and omissions; and the attempt to figure out the reasons for their actions ended in a conflict, during which, according to Plieva, Marina Tsarikaeva, a court marshal, hit her in the chest and face, and Margiev, another court marshal, having applied a special trick to her, threw her on the floor, after which he stepped on her already dislocated leg so that Plieva unclenched her hand with the telephone to which she filmed the incident. The singer received a knee injury.

"Then, they [took away] our phones and at the court marshals' room deleted all the videos, as well as all my media files," Salomeya Plieva has narrated her version.
