Chechen residents forced to take part in mass actions in support of Kadyrov, social network users believe
Employees of the public sector and law enforcement bodies continue to participate in actions of unity with the family of Ramzan Kadyrov, who fell under the US sanctions. People are forced to participate in those actions, which are being held throughout Chechnya, Instagram users suggest.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the authorities of Chechnya launched a flash mob on social networks in support of Ramzan Kadyrov. Directors of public sector institutions threat their employees with dismissals and force them to register in social networks and post photos with the hashtag #WeAreFamilyofKRA.
The "Grozny" TV Channel has prepared a report on the flash mob. The video shows employees of the Chechen Ministry of Labour standing in a line and wearing identical clothes. In their hands, they are holding sheets of paper with the inscription: #WeAreFamilyofKRA. Many of them are also holding flags of Chechnya and portraits of Ramzan Kadyrov.
According to an author of the TV report, the gathered employees of the Chechen Ministry declared that "the people appreciated the great merits of their leader."
In their comments, some social network users criticized the flash mob as a forced action. "Shame on Kadyrov and patience for the Chechen people," user shock_videoz wrote.
User mr_dmitry02 mentioned that flash mobs were carried out during the coronavirus epidemic.
Those flash mobs are not convincing, but organizers need them to show their loyalty to the leader of Chechnya, believes Said-Khussein, a resident of the republic.
Roza, a resident of Chechnya, compared the republic to North Korea.
"Most residents of the republic treat such actions with criticism and rejection," says Alambek, a resident of Chechnya.
