Three Dagestanis lost in Grozny declared wanted

Investigators have put three residents of the Dagestani city of Derbent on the wanted list after they disappeared in Grozny in winter. A criminal case was initiated under the article of "Murder of two or more persons."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that relatives of the Derbent residents Nillan Aliev, Seidaidin Mustafaev and Khakim Askerov announced their disappearance in Grozny. They got in touch for the last time on February 10, 2020. The Telegram channel "Baza" reported, citing their relatives, that one of them had criticized the Chechen leadership; and shortly before their disappearance, they posted a video in a social network showing them smoking in front of the Heart of Chechnya Mosque.

Let us remind you that on February 20, Nargiz Kazimova said that, according to her information, the missing persons were kept by one of power structure of Chechnya. However, this information was not confirmed by Nasiba Mustafayeva, Seidaidin Mustafaev's wife.

On February 23, Nillan Aliev's mother held a picket at which she asked Ramzan Kadyrov to help her in searching her son.

One of the missing men, the 35-year-old Seidaidin Mustafaev, had posted videos in social networks, in which he spoke sharply about Ramzan Kadyrov. His words could cause troubles for Seidaidin himself and his companions, analysts have suggested.
