Violators of ban on visits to Nagorno-Karabakh detained in Azerbaijan

Four residents of the Beylagan District tried to drive two cars to the territories of Nagorno-Karabakh that came under the control of Azerbaijan. Violators were detained, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 3, the police reported that nine villagers had been detained for trying to get into the non-demined territories of Karabakh, despite the ban imposed by the authorities and an increase in the number of checkpoints. In total, 25 people have been detained since the early February. Residents of the Terter District do not rule out looting among the motives of people who enter the restricted area, despite the risk of being blown up by mines.

Let us remind you that on March 1, four violators were detained in the Terter District. The court arrested two of them for 10 days and fined two more violators with disabilities 150 manats (about 90 US dollars). All four detainees were found guilty of failure to obey to the legal requests of the police.
