Natives of Dagestan apologize for driving with Lezginka along MKAD

Dagestani publics have posted a video with apologies of two young men who were driving in a car with open doors and loud music along the Moscow Ring Highway (known as MKAD). Instagram users were outraged by law enforcers' harsh actions during detention of the young men and treated their public apologies as unnecessary.

Judging by the video posted on the Instagram "life.dagestan" public, law enforcers laid the detainees face down on the ground, applied severe painful techniques to them and used special means.

Almost all the Instagram commentators have condemned the young men's behaviour, but some drew attention to the disproportionately harsh treatment of them by law enforcers.

The practice of forcing public apologies adopted in Chechnya has gone far beyond the Caucasus: in particular, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan has more than once posted on the Instagram records with detainees' apologies for committed offenses and misconduct.
