In Krasnodar Territory, 16 victims appeared at the trial of "OMON" fighters
The Lazarevskiy District Court of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Territory, has postponed the start of hearing of the case of eight "OMON" officers, who arranged a pogrom in the "Druzhba" Sochi Children's Camp till 10:00 a.m. on March 20. Advocate Nikolai Shakhovalov told the correspondent of the "Caucasian Knot" about it. The start of the process was postponed because of the absence of one of the defendants' advocates.
The judge also passed a ruling to summon an on duty advocate on March 20 to the court, in case of a repeated non-appearance of the one absent today. According to Nikolai Shakhovalov, 16 out of 29 victims have arrived today for participation in the trial, among them several minors. The problem is that many "OMON" victims live far from Sochi and cannot arrive to the court for material reasons.
