Khasavyurt court releases Chechen law enforcer Bakarov under house arrest
Khusein Bakarov, a Chechen law enforcer, who was detained in August in Khasavyurt, has been released under house arrest until November 3. He will stay at his home in Gudermes.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 4, sources reported about the arrest in Khasavyurt of the commander of a police company, who is some relative to the Deputy Prime Minister of Chechnya. According to a source, he was Khusein Bakarov, a former company commander of the patrol-and-post service (PPS) battalion in the Gudermes District of Chechnya.
He was detained on August 3 within the "Weapons" operation. Khusein Bakarov, a resident of Gudermes, was in the village of Vinsovkhozny near Khasavyurt with a working "Glock-17" pistol, a law enforcement source has informed.
The Khasavyurt City Court did not extend Khusein Bakarov's custody and released him under house arrest, the "Chernovik" (Draft) weekly reported on October 25.
Bakarov has been placed under house arrest until November 3, until the end of the preliminary investigation. The former law enforcer will stay at his home in Gudermes.
Let us remind you that, according to the source, Khusein Bakarov is a relative of Abuzaid Vismuradov, the Chechen Vice-Premier in charge of the power bloc. Vismuradov is a childhood friend of the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, and his personal bodyguard.
