Resident of Agdam District killed in a mine explosion

On November 15, Zaur Isa Agaev, a 41-year-old resident of the village of Tezekand in the Agdam District, was blown up by a mine while grazing livestock and died from the injuries he got.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that residents of Azerbaijan are regularly blown up on mines in the Karabakh conflict zone. So, on November 8, it became known that Khanlar Aslanov, a resident of the Djabrail District, was injured when an anti-personnel mine exploded during field work in the Karabakh conflict zone.

Demining areas after the combat actions in Karabakh may take years, as clearing the battlefield from ammunition is a long and difficult process, analysts note.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Agdam District, on November 15, local resident Zaur Isa oglu Agaev, born in 1980, was blown up on an anti-personnel mine in the village of Tagibeili, the “Zerkalo.az” reports.
