Opposition demands from Pashinyan to disclose border delimitation plans

On November 23, in Republic Square in Yerevan, the extra-parliamentary opposition held a rally of the "Liberation Movement" against the document on the border delimitation with Azerbaijan, which the Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, plans to sign.

The rally participants demanded to publish the document, and also opposed the provision of a corridor to Azerbaijan across the Armenian territory, intended to connect Azerbaijan with Nakhichevan. They believe that the border demarcation and delimitation is untimely, since Armenia "must first restore its territories."

Ara Zograbyan, the head of the Lawyers' Chamber and the leader of the "Zartonk" (Awakening) Party, has announced the main demands of the movement.

In his words, they demand "to suppress the anti-Armenian project of border demarcation and delimitation; to publish documents subject to signing; not to provide the enemy with a corridor; to completely arm the frontline; and protect the territorial integrity of Armenia."
