Communicator wounded in Karabakh conflict zone

Anar Ragimli, an employee of the mobile operator, has received a gunshot wound while working in the Agdam District, the Azerbaijani General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) has reported.

According to the Agdam District Prosecutor's Office (the district covers the territory of the Askeran, Mardakert and Martuni Districts of Nagorno-Karabakh, – note of the "Caucasian Knot"), on December 29, a resident of Baku, Anar Ragimli, born in 1993, received a gunshot wound in the territory of the Agdam District.

"It has been established that an employee of the mobile operator "Bakcell" LLC was wounded. It happened he was engaged in his professional work; the shot was made from the territory of the conflict zone," the Azerbaijani GPO has informed on its website.

Investigators of the GPO have opened a criminal case under the articles on terrorism, attempted murder, attempted murder associated with banditry and on illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition, the GPO's website says.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on November 15, Zaur Isa Agaev, a 41-year-old resident of the village of Tezekand in the Agdam District, got blown up by a mine while grazing livestock and died from his wounds.
