Rallies in Munich and Stockholm support Yangulbaevs
Protest actions in Munich and Stockholm were held by Chechen émigrés who demanded that they stop mocking relatives of Kadyrov's critics and save them from extrajudicial executions. The protesters especially touched on the situation with the Yangulbaev family, expressing their support for them.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 8 a rally was held in Strasbourg, the participants of which condemned mass kidnappings in Chechnya and torture in Russian jails, and protested against the deportation of Chechens from Europe to Russia. On January 29, a rally against violence of Chechen women was held in Oslo near the Norwegian Parliament, where the protesters condemned the detention of Zarema Musaeva.
On February 5, over 70 people gathered outside the Russian Consulate General in Munich. They opposed the kidnappings of relatives of bloggers and Kadyrov's critics in Chechnya, the outlet "Kavkaz.Realii"* has reported.
A similar action was held in front of the building of the Russian Embassy in Stockholm; more than 50 members of the local Chechen Diaspora took part in it. They held banners demanding to stop kidnapping and torturing innocent people and to save relatives of oppositional Chechen bloggers living in Chechnya from extrajudicial killings. The protesters also expressed their support to the Yangulbaev family.
On February 3, the "Grozny" TV Company reported that at a rally in the village of Goity, relatives of Yangublaevs and Musaevs renounced their relatives and promised to take revenge on them.
