On February 27, an action was held in Yerevan against the hostilities in Ukraine, which was attended by employees of the Ukrainian Embassy in Armenia, members of the European Party of Armenia and of the "National Democratic Pole", member of the Ukrainian community in Armenia and other activists. The action was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine to Armenia, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 27, the Russian MoD reported that Russian militaries had completely blocked the Ukrainian cities of Kherson and Berdyansk, and had also taken control over Genichevsk and the Chernobaevka Airfield located near Kherson.

The protesters were holding state flags of Armenia, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Poland, the European Union (EU) and Ukraine, as well as posters with the inscriptions "Stop War", pictures of the dove "Love Peace-Not War" and "No war in Ukraine".

The action was held at the monument to Taras Shevchenko in central Yerevan, to which the participants of the action laid flowers.

Denis Avtonomov, the Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in Armenia, said in his speech that hostilities "for the Ukrainian people are like a nightmare."

The "National Democratic Pole" issued a statement, in which it has noted that there is a risk of restoring the former Russian Empire "within its former borders."
