Kadyrov announces a reward for heads of Ukrainian commanders

Today, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has promised to pay a USD 500,000 reward for the head of each commander of Ukrainian battalions and the Chechen battalion, which takes part in the battles on the side of Ukraine. According to Ramzan Kadyrov, the funds will be provided by “volunteers.”

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on February 26, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that Chechen fighters had gone to Ukraine to execute Vladimir Putin’s orders and protect the Ukrainian people. On March 2, the leader of Chechnya promised to put an end to combatants in Ukraine who call themselves Chechens and oppose the Russian troops.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has announced a USD 500,000 reward for the head of each commander of the Ukrainian nationalists and Chechens who are fighting on the side of Ukraine. “A reward is being announced for the heads of the commanders of Ukrainian nationalists: Bandera, Azov, and Dudaev battalions (...),” the leader of Chechnya has written today in his Telegram channel.

According to Ramzan Kadyrov, he made this statement not as an official, but as a volunteer “on behalf of the patriots of Russia.” Ramzan Kadyrov assures that the payment of the award will be provided from the funds of “the volunteers with financial capabilities” who “expressed their desire to pay 500,000 US dollars for the head of each commander," follows from the message.
