Closed sky regime extended in Southern Russia
The restriction on flights over Southern Russia has been extended until March 14, the Russian Ministry of Transports has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 1, the "Rosaviatsiya" (Russian Federal Air Transport Agency) informed that restrictions on the operation of airports in the Central and Southern Russia, including Anapa, Gelendjik, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Elista, were extended until March 8.
"The sky closure regime has been extended until March 14," the TASS has quoted its source from the above ministry as saying.
Let us remind you that after the start of the military operation in Ukraine, the operation of airports in Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Anapa, Gelendjik, Elista and Stavropol, as well as in other cities, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk and Simferopol, was suspended. The "Rostourism" advised tourists to postpone trips to southern regions. The Ministry of Transports promised to take everyone who wishes from Southern Russia by trains and buses.
