Kadyrov posts a video report of a Chechen commander from Ukraine
Khussein Mezhidov, a commander of the “Yug” (South) battalion, reports that while being in Ukraine, Chechen fighters are engaged in carrying out tasks and combing the area. The “Akhmat” Special Rapid-Response Unit (SOBR) fighters are also ready to be sent to Ukraine, the leader of Chechnya says.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on February 26, Ramzan Kadyrov announced that Chechen fighters had gone to Ukraine to fulfil orders of President Vladimir Putin. Mufti Salakh Mezhiev has announced that the Chechen fighters who left for Ukraine are fighting for the sake of Allah.
The first evidence of the presence of the Chechen military in Ukraine appeared on February 26.
“The fighters are literally eager to help residents of Donbass … They are ready to advance in full combat gear to help the Ukrainian people in the area of the special operation,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote in the annotation to the video with the of Khussein Mezhidov’s report in his Telegram channel.
The leader of Chechnya assured that “if necessary,” members of the Kadyrov family are ready to send “even more manpower from our family” to Ukraine.
