Taganrog resident fined for discrediting Russian Army

A court in Taganrog imposed a fine of 30,000 roubles on a local resident, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

This is not the first case of punishing residents of the Rostov Region for discrediting the Russian Army. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 11, the Taganrog City Court fined three local residents by 20,000 to 25,000 roubles for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces after they had protested against the special operation in Ukraine. On April 6, it became known about a fine of 30,000 roubles imposed on Nadezhda Vorobyeva, a local resident, whom the court also found guilty of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

According to the police, the above 54-year-old resident of Taganrog had publicly spoken negatively about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces.

Policemen have drawn up a protocol against him under the article on committing public actions aimed at discrediting the Russian Armed Forces. The court found him guilty and imposed a fine of 30,000 roubles on him, the court has informed without specifying the details of the case.
