Military serviceman perishes in Azerbaijan
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) asserts that the conscript serviceman has committed suicide.
The soldier, Abdullazade Said Mazakhir oglu, who was at his regular service in the Azerbaijani Army, has committed suicide, the APA News Agency reported referring to the Azeri MoD.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on March 22, 2021, a conscript soldier Ilkin Zokhrabov, who had served a year and a half in the Azerbaijani Army, died from a gunshot eight days before his demobilisation. Then, investigators treated the incident as suicide, but his relatives are sure that he was killed. On February 8, his mother went out for a picket to the building of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice, demanding a fair investigation into the cause of her son's death in the army.
