Dagestan authorities want to deprive the charitable hospital of its building
Today, the Arbitration Court of Dagestan has begun considering the suit of the Prosecutor's Office of Dagestan on cancelling the order of the Ministry of Property of the Republic on allocation of premises to the Regional Public Foundation "Charitable Women's Hospital."
Aishat Magomedova, director of the charitable hospital for women, has reported in her conversation with the "Caucasian Knot": "The building of the hospital was built in the 1920s. Nobody wanted to move in because of its shabby condition... We render free medical aid to woman from different, mainly mountainous districts of Dagestan. I relate the initiated process with the fact that someone has liked the land plot located at the centre of Makhachkala."
Diana Sork, the advocate who is representing the interests of the hospital, said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent: "We have all the documents on hand that the premises have been granted to the hospital gratuitously and for unlimited term."
At the trial, the representative of the Prosecutor's Office answered to the Judge's question about the reason of claim initiation as follows: "In the interests of the state." At the same time, the employee of the Prosecutor's Office has confirmed that the revision of the activities of the charitable hospital was held by the Prosecutor's Office under the order of the FSB (Federal Security Bureau) of Dagestan.
