Audience of performance about Eid al-Adha in Makhachkala compares it with Marvel sequels
More than 2000 people, including children from orphanages and boarding schools, attended a charity performance in Makhachkala dedicated to Eid al-Adha. The audience compared its scenario, in which positive heroes teamed up against villains of Russian and Dagestan fairy tales, with famous Marvel sequels.
On July 17, a performance dedicated to the Eid al-Adha holiday, based on Dagestani and Russian fairy tales, was shown in Makhachkala. Gamzat, a resident of Makhachkala, who attended the performance together with his family members, said that he found the scenario of the performance more interesting than that a year ago. The man explained that in the current performance, various villainous heroes have united in order to interfere with the celebration of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha.
According to Gamzat, the scenario is written in accordance with “modern trends.” “In the Marvel universe, we see how the heroes get together to fight against evil. And in the scenario of the performance, on the contrary, the villainous heroes gather in Dagestan to spoil the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha. However, the positive heroes do not allow that and save the holiday,” Gamzat told the “Caucasian Knot” correspondent.
The resident of Makhachkala also emphasized that the reaction of the audience was very positive and that after the show, the audience applauded the artists for a long time.
