Since May this year, water has been supplied to the village of Inarki, Malgobek District of Ingushetia, with outages; and since July, due to the heat, there has been no water at all, a local resident has stated. The situation with water supply is critical; the opening of a kindergarten in September is under threat, Adam Kotiev, the head of the village, has confirmed.
Since May, the village of Inarki, Malgobek District, had problems with water supply; and since the summer turned out to be sultry, there was no water in the village at all.
"With the complete absence of water in the village, a catastrophic situation has onset, primarily for the health of children and those over 60," Rukiyat Kartoeva, a pensioner, has stated.
According to her story, the heat lasted almost half of July and August and burned down all the crops in household land plots.
Animals are also suffering. "Because we can't give enough water to drink, they constantly mumble and get nervous," the woman said.
The head of the village, Adam Kotiev, has confirmed that the situation in the village is critical. According to his story, Inarki has 1050 households, where more than 7000 people live; the villagers keep 1500 heads of cattle – they also need water.
