On September 17, Sergey Melikov, the leader of Dagestan, announced that he agreed with the heads of the regions concerning the need for additional measures to support the special military operation in Ukraine. The Ramzan Kadyrov’s initiative on self-mobilization was supported by the governors of several other regions.
