Wife of mobilized man from KChR instead of help with firewood receives tickets to circus
Irina Nikiforyak, the wife of the mobilized man has complained that authorities of the Urupsky District of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) brought her two tickets to the circus instead of firewood she has asked for. The local administration assured her that firewood would be brought in; and explained that tickets to the circus were given to all the families of those who take part in the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that authorities in Southern Russia and Northern Caucasus are regularly reporting about the support they render to the families of mobilized men. Thus, on December 30, 2022, the administration of the Baksan District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) reported that gas and heating were supplied to the houses of three families of mobilized men.
"My husband was voluntarily mobilized on January 24. Authorities of the Urupsky District promised to help me and bring firewood. Instead, they brought two tickets to the circus," said Irina Nikiforyak, the Telegram channel "People's Front of the KChR" has reported.
According to the woman, the chairman of the rural municipal settlement promised her that firewood would still be delivered; Irina Nikiforyak was put on the waiting list to receive it.
