In Kuban, authorities hold military parade with the participation of kindergarten children
In the city of Yeysk, Krasnodar Territory (also known as Kuban by the name of the main river), children from several kindergartens took part in a military parade dated to the Victory Day. Roman Bublik, the head of the Yeysk District, said that the event with the participation of preschool children is planned to be held annually.
"Today in Yeysk, for the first time, a parade of preschoolers 'We are great-grandchildren of the Great Victory' was held," Roman Bublik wrote on April 29 in his Telegram channel.
In one of the videos, children from several kindergartens, dressed in military uniforms from the time of the World War II, are marching in front of civil servants and residents of Yeysk, who are sitting in the stands.
Alexander Korovainy, a former deputy of the Yeysk District Council, believes that by holding children's parades, local authorities are trying to preserve their posts.
"The legislation expressly prohibits drawing children into politics; and in this context we are talking about politics, not patriotic education. Amid the fact that these children's elder brothers are now perishing [in Ukraine], it is blasphemous to dress them in military uniforms. From kindergarten, they are being prepared to be in the place of killed militaries," the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has quoted Mr Korovainy as saying.
Let us remind you that in May 2022, the court banned Alexander Korovainy from participating in elections until 2024. On March 9, 2023, he announced that he lived in Georgia. He explained his departure from Russia by the threat of criminal prosecution.
