Resident of Volgograd fined for promoting LGBT on a dating website

The court has imposed a fine of 100,000 roubles on a 20-year-old resident of Volgograd, in whose profile on dating website law enforcers found LGBT propaganda. This is the first case in the Volgograd Region of prosecution under the article on LGBT propaganda.

In the profile of the Volgograd citizen, policemen found materials promoting non-traditional sexual relations and preferences, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the Volgograd Region has reported in its Telegram channel.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in 2019, the Volgograd administration refused to sanction the rally "For the rights of Russia's LGBT youth".
