Oppositionist Yangulbaev refutes kinship of Chechen refugee family with Basaev
Shamil Basaev's relatives deny that his daughter and grandson have left Chechnya for Germany, Abubakar Yangulbaev, a Chechen oppositionist and rights defender, has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 11, Yangulbaev informed that Shamil Basaev's daughter left Russia with her son and arrived in Germany, where she asked for asylum. Abubakar expressed concern that German authorities might deny asylum and deport them to Russia. The "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has clarified that the daughter's name was Khava Abdulmezhidova.
According to Abubakar Yangulbaev, members of Shamil Basaev's family contacted him.
"Members of Shamil Basaev's family have contacted me; <they> claim that none of them is in Germany; they need no help; and Shamil has no legitimate grandchildren," Abubakar wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that Yangulbaev wrote in his Telegram channel that Basaev's daughter was forced to leave Chechnya after her son received a summons after the start of mobilization. First they went to Vladikavkaz, and then via Croatia to Germany.
