French police not guilty of illegal alien-boy's fall from the balcony

The policemen of the French city of Amiens are not guilty of Russian boy Ivan's fall from the balcony of the fifth floor, as a result of which he received heavy traumas.

This is the conclusion of the internal investigation conducted by the police in the follow-up of the events.

"As a result of a careful investigation, it is obvious that young Ivan's wounds were inflicted as a result of a casual fall, and from the legal viewpoint nobody can be made criminally liable for the accident," the ITAR-TASS quotes the statement of Patrick Beau, Public Prosecutor of Amiens.

On August 21, Bris Ortefet, Minister of Immigration, Integration, National Identity and Mutual Development, stated that the parents of the suffered child could stay in France so long as the treatment of the child should require.
