Four Yangulbaevs' relatives sent to Ukraine

In Chechnya, law enforcers have detained a brother of Saidi Yangulbaev, a former Russian federal judge, and three of his nephews and sent them to the special military operation (SMO) zone, Abubakar Yangulbaev, a lawyer, has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov is regularly reporting about sending groups of fighters from Chechnya to Ukraine. According to his story, by July 27, 2023, more than 28,000 fighters, including over 13,000 volunteers, had been sent to the SMO zone from Chechnya.

Now, the following persons have been sent to the SMO zone: Said-Akhmed Yangulbaev, 55, Saidi Yangulbaev's brother; Adam and Yusup Yangulbaev, two sons of another Saidi's brother; and Khasan Yangulbaev, a son of Saidi's third brother; Khasan is the father of a newborn; Adam also has a small child. Khasan suffered from tuberculosis in his youth, according says Abubakar Yangulbaev's Telegram channel.

The above relatives were detained by the police and taken to the Special Forces University in Gudermes; their training there lasted for only two or three days, Abubakar Yangulbaev has added to the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project.

On July 4, a Grozny court sentenced Zarema Musaeva to 5.5 years and six months in prison, finding her guilty of assaulting a policeman.

After Musaeva's detention, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, accused the Yangulbaevs of organizing a terrorist network and said that their place is "in prison or under the ground."

On February 3, 2022, the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) reported that at a rally in the village of Goity, relatives of Yangublaevs and Musaevs renounced their relatives and promised to take revenge on them.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on July 25, it became known that Imam Valid Kuruev, who disappeared in Chechnya in May, was forcibly sent to Ukraine.

On July 25, it also became known that Khusein Zakaev, a nephew of Akhmed Zakaev, was sent to Ukraine. Khusein was detained by Chechen law enforcers back in May this year.
