Suspects of calling for unrest at Magas Airport detained
Several local residents were detained in Ingushetia for spreading calls for unrest at Magas airport, the FSB reported.
According to the department, the detainees called for riots, Izvestia reports. The publication includes a video in which two men, whose faces have been blurred, tell the security forces about their plans. One of them said that “yesterday, October 30,” he joined an anti-Semitic group on WhatsApp*, whose participants were discussing going to a rally at the airport because of the arrival of a plane from Israel.
“Then, on the 31st, law enforcement officials invited me for a conversation and explained that it is prohibited to hold unauthorized rallies and that Israeli residents are not going to fly to Ingushetia, they are not going to live in Ingushetia. Don’t be fooled by provocations, don’t create problems for yourself and your loved ones,” the young man says in the video. The second man in the video says he shared the videos.
“There were videos that were uploaded, I also sent them to different groups,” he says. Information about the detention of residents of Ingushetia and the same video was published today by the REN-TV channel. How many suspects were detained is not specified in the publications.
