Prosecutor's office of Rostov Region denies miner's death during picket in Zverevo
According to the press service of the Rostov Regional Prosecutor's Office, Kravchenko, Mikhail Romanovich, former drift miner of the Zverevo Mining Administration (retired in 2000), did not take part in the picket that started in the city of Zverevo on September 14, 2007.
According to the Zverevo Central City Hospital, Kravchenko, Mikhail Romanovich who suffered from chronic bronchitis was brought on September 15, 2007, to the reception ward of the hospital in the state of alcoholic intoxication with a facial trauma and nasal bleeding. Soon he left the hospital by his own.
On September 16, he was again delivered to the reception ward in the state of alcoholic intoxication and with a sharp brain blood circulation disorder. Because of this condition, he was hospitalized to the neurology ward of the hospital. On that very day he voluntary left the ward.
Kravchenko, Mikhail Romanovich, died on September 20 at 3:00 a.m. in his apartment.
According to the press service, which the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent refers to, the City's Prosecutor's Office is daily tracing the situation with the picket, holds meetings with representatives of the picketers (the initiative group) and gives explanations on the legislation in force.
