MMA fighter Magomedrasul Mutaev shot dead in Makhachkala

An unidentified person shot several times at MMA fighter Magomedrasul Mutaev near his house in Makhachkala. The athlete died on the way to the hospital. The preliminary reason for the athlete’s murder is said to be revenge, sources report.

Magomedrasul Mutaev, a mixed martial arts fighter of the Fight Nights promotion, was shot dead from a pistol, the Dagestani weekly newspaper “Chernovik” (Rough Draft) reports in its Telegram channel.

The incident occurred when Magomedrasul Mutaev returned from his training. One of the bullets hit the athlete in his head. The incident was not the first attempt on the MMA fighter’s life. Earlier, a criminal has also shot at Magomedrasul Mutaev from a pistol, but failed to hit him, the “Mash” Telegram channel reports.

A native of the village of Korkmaskala is suspected of murdering Magomedrasul Mutaev, blogger Rasul Assad reports in his “Sprosite u Rasula” (Ask Rasul) Telegram channel.
