The main witness interrogated at the trial of militiamen who tortured teenagers in Kabardino-Balkaria
Today, the Elborus District Court has continued considering the criminal case about beating by local ROVD employees of two teenagers.
The Court has continued interrogating the witnesses. In particular, the main witness Arthur Khamdokhov, 16, a resident of Tyrnyauz, was interrogated. The next court session was appointed on Monday, September 17.
Witness Arthur Khamdokhov has confirmed at today's session that he saw the teenagers at the ROVD at 11 p.m. His task was to recognize them as the thieves who had robbed a private apartment in Tyrnyauz. However, as he said, he did not recognize them as the thieves and told militiamen about it. Then, the teenagers were released.
At the following court session, the defendants will be interrogated, and the debate of the parties will take place.
It has become known to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that one of the defendants - M. Baichekuev - after the court session tried to beat an employee of the District Prosecutor's Office who supported the state accusation.
