Ingushetia: people doubt of Khidrievs' participation in blowing up the "Neva-Express" train

Relatives of the residents of Ingushetia detained on suspicion of blowing up the "Neva-Express" train and local human rights activists do not believe in Khidriev brothers' involvement in the incident.

"In my opinion, the version of possible participation of the Khidrievs in blowing up the train is inconsistent. Yesterday I visited the house of the detainees and talked with their relatives and neighbours. They assert that on the day of the terror act in the Novgorod Region the Khidriev brothers were in Ingushetia. The fact is also confirmed by the workers, with whom Amirkhan and Maksharip worked at the construction site (one of the brothers is a plasterer and the other is a crane operator)," Aslambek Apaev, an expert of the Moscow Helsinki Group for Northern Caucasus, said in his conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Besides, according to the human rights activist, the elder of the suspected brothers - Amirkhan, 30, is under the recognizance not to leave, and has not left the Republic for two years already. "In 2005 he was sentenced to conditional imprisonment, and since then he has to appear at the bodies for supervision over punishment enforcement on the regular basis," he said.
