Opposition held a rally in memory of November 7 in the capital of Georgia
Today, the "Equality Institute" and members of youth oppositional organizations have held a rally in the Riket Square of Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, in memory of dispersal of the meeting on November 7.
The GHN reports that the organizers showed photos illustrating the scenes of dispersing the opposition meetings. Later, the participants of the action made their way to the St Trinity Cathedral.
"We've rallied here to remind everybody about the events on November 7. Georgians will never forget the day of their execution. Actually, on that day the government committed a putsch and treated its citizens with truncheons and tear gas," Levan Gogichaishvili, a member of the "Equality Institute", has stated.
Today at 8:00 p.m. another action will be held in Tbilisi - members of the united youth movement will rally at the office of the "Imedi" TV Company to support its employees, Zaza Gabuniya, chair of the youth organization of the "Freedom" Party, has informed the GHN Agency.
According to his story, the government will soon send a group of censors to the "Imedi" TV Company.
Mr Gabuniya has noted that now, a month after the events on November 7, the protest actions will continue until the government stops breaching the Constitution of Georgia.
