Mass lay-offs of servants launched in Ingushetia

On March 26, state organizations and establishments of Ingushetia, administration heads of cities, districts and settlements received a written instruction to dismiss chief accountants and deputy heads of respective organizations, and also of division heads.

Ibragim Tochiev, head of the administration of the President of Ingushetia, demands in his letter disseminated among organizations that before 3:00 p.m. on March 27 all the above officials should submit their own-will resignation applications without stating the date thereof.

The "Ingushetia.Org" website writes that the dismissal procedure undertaken within the campaign against corruption "is not finally clear: whether the persons enlisted in this category submit applications on their own will, or they are first charged with particular abuses of their duty powers."

Presumably, about 1000 persons will be dismissed, resulting in a splash of unemployment and social tension in Ingushetia, as the "Ingnews.ru" reports.
