Woman injured by grenade explosion in Kabardino-Balkaria
In the morning on Sunday, April 5, in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, a local woman-resident was wounded as a result of a grenade explosion in the yard of her own house; she was hospitalized.
One of the latest accidents, when peaceful residents were injured by explosions, happened on July 2, 2008. Then, an explosion took place in a Nalchik suburb, as a result of which a militiaman and his two young kids suffered.
Today, a source in law enforcement bodies of Kabardino-Balkaria has reported that at about 11:15 a.m. Moscow time, in Krasnopartizanskaya Street, a RGD-5 grenade blew up, when the woman tried to open the gate of her yard.
The mistress of the house received fragmental wounds. It is also reported that she was jobless. A criminal case was initiated under Article "Attempted murder", as the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
