Armenian authorities don't say open Armenian-Turkish border is impossible

Tigran Balayan, press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia, has not denied the information of the American edition The Wall Street Journal about possible forthcoming signing of the agreement to open the Armenian-Turkish border.

In reply to the request to give comments on the publication of The Wall Street Journal dated April 2 that the agreement on opening the Armenian-Turkish border can be signed on April 16, Mr Balayan has confirmed that on that day Yerevan will host a sitting of MFA heads of the countries of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, which will also be attended by Ali Babadzhan, head of Turkish MFA.

The Wall Street Journal noted with reference to European diplomatic circles that the agreement assumes border delineation and opening, establishment of diplomatic relations and setting up a commission for studying disputable issues.
