Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Georgia accuses Russia of breaching Georgians' rights
In the context of the death of an illegal migrant from Georgia, the Georgian MFA has accused the Russian authorities of infringing the rights of Georgian citizens. The Federal Migration Service of Russia assures that everything possible was done to save the life of the man, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
The memorandum of the MFA of Georgia disseminated on October 17 asserts that Tengiz Togonidze, a citizen of Georgia who suffered from asthma, was not rendered a timely medical assistance.
We remind you that on October 4 the State Duma deputies adopted a declaration "On Anti-Russian and Anti-Democratic Policy of Georgian Authorities." Earlier, the Russian Federation suspended the air, railway, automobile and postal communications with Georgia. These sanctions were a continuation of the espionage scandal that burst out in Georgia on September 27. The consequences of the scandal were multiple oppression acts towards Georgian natives exercised by employees of power structures. Georgian officials are accusing Russian authorities of ethic cleansings and even genocide in relation to natives of Georgia.
