Hearing of the case of the fight instigator in "Chaika" restaurant starts in Kondopoga
The District Court of the Karelian city of Kondopoga started a closed session of preliminary hearing of the criminal case in relation to the instigator of the fight in the local restaurant "Chaika." The parties are debating on procedural and protocol aspects of the forthcoming court proceedings, the ITAR-TASS reports.
Earlier, the indictee Mozgalyov was repeatedly brought to criminal responsibility, including for murder, and was sentenced to 9 years and 10 months of deprivation of freedom. The Senior Prosecutor's Assistant marked that the investigation qualified the actions of Mozgalyov under the Articles "hooliganism" and "bodily blows" of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Should the Court account him guilty, Mozgalyov is under threat of up to 7 years of imprisonment.
We remind you that the cause of disorders in the city of Kondopoga of the Republic of Karelia was a massive fight between local residents and natives of the Caucasus.
