Ingushetia: information on hunger strike of renal insufficiency patients refuted

The information, disseminated by certain mass media, about a hunger strike, allegedly announced by the haemodialysis ward patients of the Central Republic's Hospital (CRH) of Ingushetia, has nothing to do with reality, the top managers of the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic have declared.

"The in-patients of the CRH's haemodialysis ward are taking their treatment and announced no hunger strike," Magomed Aliskhanov, Minister of Public Health of Ingushetia has stated today.

Ms Khava Evloeva, First Vice-Premier of the Government of Ingushetia, has reported that because of complicated situation at the CRH, including the haemodialysis ward, recently the Chief Physician and several other employees of this medical establishment have been dismissed.

According to Ms Evloeva, now the new top managers of the CRH are solving the problems, which have appeared because of negligence of the former managers of the hospital, the "Interfax" reports.
